When organizing your travel plans, it’s essential to have a clear and flexible itinerary. Our app offers two ways to manage your destinations: adding Points of Interest and Mapping with Live Data. Here’s how these features differ and how each can be used to enhance your trip planning:
Adding Points of Interest
Adding Points of Interest to your itinerary allows you to list destinations you plan to visit. These entries serve as placeholders for your travel plans and help you organize your schedule. Use Points of Interest to:
- Plan Your Day: Include attractions, restaurants, or activities you want to visit during your trip.
- Stay Organized: Create a list of locations to ensure you don’t miss any important stops along your journey.
- Provide Quick Reference: Have a convenient list of places with relevant details like opening hours or contact information.

Mapping with Live Data
Mapping with Live Data takes your itinerary to the next level by linking your Points of Interest to real-world locations on a map. This feature allows for interactive and dynamic navigation using your device’s map application. Use Mapping with Live Data to:
- Link to Exact Locations: Associate each Point of Interest with a specific address or geographic location.
- Access Real-Time Directions: Open mapped locations in your map app for turn-by-turn navigation and live traffic updates.
- Visualize Your Journey: See your entire itinerary on a map, helping you plan routes and estimate travel times.
By adding Points of Interest and then mapping them with live data, you can create a detailed and actionable travel itinerary, ensuring a smooth and efficient trip.
